Id probably be interested in this type of league if it wasnt auction. Never participated in one.

It's the best way to play fantasy baseball.

You'll soon laugh that you used to enjoy points, snake draft leagues.

If you lowered the buy-in to say 50 bucks, I'd be in. I'm already in 100, 50, and 20 dollar leagues. Another 100 dollar league is just too much right now.

Also, I could possibly get 1-3 guys from my 100 dollar h2h league to join bc they are all looking for a roto league to join. I'd vouch for anyone that I'd bring. All very active, serious, competitive owners.

It sounds like Whitie might do it for 50 as well.

Yeah I'd do it for $50 also... considering the draft is so early and I haven't even started any research, I'm not throwing a $100.00 for a crap shoot.

If someone wants to take this league and turn it into a $50 buy in, feel free. Change the draft date etc.

I was only trying to make it happen because we had a few guys commit and i didn't want to renege on starting this up. I don't really need another league anyway and a $50 league isn't worth the time to take on a 3rd for me. I will focus on my two and you guys can take this and run with it if you want

Is a $50 buy in really worth tossing the whole idea away? I think it'd be better to see how it all plays out for a year then turn it into $100 or more.

I'd ask the people who will play for $50 and not $100 the same thing. We can push the draft to next Tuesday and everyone will have a chance to prepare if that's a deal breaker.

Yeah, a month ago. And 8 people committed since. I picked up another league when there was an opening bc I wanted to play in 2 leagues and this one likely wasn't happening. Don't act like this is on me; I just came here AGAIN to try and get this thing off the ground

Fair enough

I'm tempted by the $50 to simply try a new type of league. $100 for the first time trying an auction is just too much.

don't get me wrong i'd love to do it for however much money it is, but fantasy baseball isn't the best place to allocate money on a college budget, especially when i'm probably spending at least $100 already

i could do it but i know i shouldn't do it

Why post in the thread if you know you're not going to do play for the buy-in fee?

Did you not read his post earlier? He said he is on a college budget and doesn't think he can swing it. That's why the idea for $50 dollar buy-in came in.
