Win maybe 10-12 more and give Philly a top 10 pick

Or

we win less than 10 more games and pick top 5

I think a.)

I think these next 5 games will be pretty telling.

vs. Sac
@ Detroit
vs. Orlando
@ Cleveland
@ Minny

If we win 2-3 of those 5, the tank is dead IMO.

I don't think we will catch the top tankers, so I'll be happy watching AD continue to develop.

let's win those 5 games, bring Jrue back, and start talking about playoffs again

this.

we're not aiming for #1 or #2, we're aiming to stay in the top 5 in shitville if we were to tank.

The difference between us (@#10) and #3 is a total of 3 wins. THREE wins.

1. Milwaukee 7-33
2. Orlando 11-30
3. Philadelphia 13-28
4. Utah 14-28
5. Boston 14-28
6. Sacramento 14-25
7. Cleveland 15-26
8. New York 15-26
9. LA Lakers 16-26
10. New Orleans 16-24
11. Detroit 17-24
12. Brooklyn 17-22
13. Charlotte 18-25

The difference between us and those teams is we have Anthony Davis. We were a .500 team not too long ago before this losing streak that included games @Ind, @Mia, GS, Hou, Dal x2 and we were close in a lot of those games.

Another thing people don't seem to factor in is that the NBA isn't a video game where young players improve in one month during the offseason. Davis went from a decent starter to a top 15 NBA player to now a top 10 player. By April, he will be a top 5 player in the league at the rate he is progressing.

It's almost impossible to go far under .500 with a top 5 player in the league.

I don't have any expectations. I just want this team to find an identity - difficult to do considering the guys that are injured.

Yeah, we were a .500 team and playing at an above .500 level with all of our players healthy.

Too bad we're down 2 big players, a player with a gimpy ankle all season, a guy with a knee that can explode at any time, and a single top 10/15 player.

Reminds me, kevin love who is arguably better than AD constantly loses as well on his team.

We may win a lot more games, but considering the fact that we've lost to crappy teams all season it isn't farfetched to think those 3 win differentials is THAT big of a gap. I mean didn't we go barely go .500 beating only teams under .500?

Put the focus on developing Davis. Win 20 more games. Be ready to roll next year when everyone comes back healthy with Davis as a top 5 player. Pray we magically win the lottery as a reward for not tanking.
