For how much of a deal was made about that when Alosi from the Jets tripped the guy a few years ago, I'm surprised that this isn't getting covered a bit more. Will it be similar to Alosi where the Jets were fined $100,000 and Alosi was suspended for the rest of the year?

His feet went towards the player and he lowered his shoulder. Seems pretty clear to me.

No shite...the guy is 5 yards out of bounds. It's not like the guy in street clothes purposefully laid him out. He just leaned into him so as not to get knocked back.

I'm not upset about it at all. I'm just curious if he's going to get fined. And being that far out of bounds is completely normal on punts.

If anyone gets fined it will be the Seahawks player for going 8 yards out of play to hit a defenseless player

From that angle, it looks to me like he tried to get out of the way.

Regardless, the Seattle player is 7 yards out of bounds. Unless the NFL has some rule governing sideline behavior when an opposing player ventures that far off the field during a play, he shouldn't be fined anything.

On second look, what if he ventured that far off so as to "accidentally" get a shot at Harbaugh? If that guy doesn't bump him, look where he's going to end up?

wtf? Look at the guys feet. He clearly steps forward and puts a shoulder into the Seahawks player.

ETA: And if he was jumping backwards why did he end up taking a few steps forward after making contact?

Looks like the dude is trying to protect himself from a player in pads running through the bench.
