Anyone use Northwestern Mutual? What's your opinion on them?

They have good disability coverage from what I've seen. Thankfully I've never had to use it, but an MD friend really benefited from it. Don't have any experience with their other products.

They push whole life pretty hard over term. Seems like a lot of people start out but never stay more than 2 years.

Depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for the cheapest insurance, they probably aren't for you.
However, they are part of the "big 3" I usually recommend people look at when considering different types of coverages. Nobody except their agents can show their products, so it is usually worth checking them out just for that.
ETA: What are you looking at them for in particular?

Have disability with them. Can't complain that's for sure. They do try and push whole life a bit much though.

I have been working with Northwestern Mutual for several yrs. I enjoy working with them much more then others. Their BR staff is great, if your a golfer you likely know a couple of them.
