Help with LSU ebook for class

Hello all,
Looking for help viewing or downloading an ebook on an iPad for class. They are free textbooks on the lsu library site.
It says I can download/checkout the book for a 7 day period. Does this mean I have to redownload every 7 days or just relogin?
