I'm thinking about getting a Beast 48 for next season and was looking for a little feedback. Anyone ever try one out?

Get the "She Beast"
We had an offroad golf cart at the last place I worked, thing was awesome around the farm, probably more handy than a 4wheeler.

My daughter might request it, IDGAF as long as it works. Looks to be the same thing with pink stickers.
I wanted side by side but I don't want to buy a new trailer, and this thing is 4-5k cheaper than a bad boy buggy.

I'll take your word for it
I was careful when it typed it out to make sure it didn't link to pr0n.

I have one -- bought it two years ago after getting tired of malfunctions with my Bad Boy Buggy (BBB).
The final straw with the BBB was when it decided to run away, at full throttle, with a very good client as a passenger and with me as the "driver."
The Beast has been flawless -- it's quiet, has taken me through some really bad mud holes, and has double the battery life//range of my BBB.
I have only experienced one little issue with the Beast buggy ............... I told my kids, some people at work, and some clients that I shoot clays with, that I named it after my wife (hence the "Beast" emblem on the front of the buggy).
Somebody ratted me out.

How much does one run you?

7500-8500 or so MSRP depending on model, not sure how much they deal on those things

Yeah I've read about a lot of issues with the BBB. I like that the beast can be used for hunting or riding around the neighborhood. Glad to hear it'll go through some slop too. Was worried about that because the model I like is only a 2wd

My buddy has one. He loves it. Very powerful for an electric cart.

Mine's a 2WD -- but I got the posi-traction option plus a Warn winch (never yet had to use the winch).
I went through some stuff two weeks ago (looking at some hunting land I may purchase). After about 1/2 mile the "road" started to get really bad (ruts and large holes), but the guy with me (proposed seller) pointed out the winch and seemed agreeable to being the swamper. So we plowed on through and never came close to getting bogged down.
I guess I wish it was 4WD, just for peace of mind. But so far, just haven't needed it. It's really great for turkey hunting - super quiet.
FWIW I also bought the AGM batteries. I bought them because the conventional batteries didn't last long (3-1/2 years) on my BBB. I don't think AGM's are really needed, but if you're coming back after dark (using the headlights) and need the winch -- well, might be worth it.
If you order one, be sure and look into having Gun Scabbards mounted at the factory. They did an exceptional job (far better than I would have done).

Do you have the seats in the back that fold down to make a platform for carrying? How's that work out?

Mine's made like that. (I guess I thought all of the Beasts are//were as well.) It works fine.
