I bought a 36 gun Cannon safe from academy last month for $800 and am pleased with it. All of my belongings are still safe in there so far and the door hasn't fallen off yet so that's a plus.

What size do you want?

Call Richie's Pawn & Gun in Pacayune (601) 798-9449

They often have (or had) scratch and dent sales of the Cannon safes. I think I paid $550 for one delivered into my garage in Metairie.

Two old threads about it LINK LINK

Good luck. I have stopped by that place several time and no safes were to be had.

I think they get a load sent in, then advertise like crazy till they are gone. If I remember they were small too.
Y'all keep in mind the fire rating, most all of the lower end ones can be broken in to.
