I could be mistaken, but historically, when a top offense faces a top D in the Super Bowl, isn't it usually the highly rated defensive team that wins?

Well, statistically...points scored in a season.

It is an arguable opinion in my eyes. I could see other offenses deserving of the same claim.

I can't wait for it.

I know you're a Broncos fan, but I think Seattle is gonna smother Denver's passing game.

I will say, though, that I was very impressed by Denver's OL today. If they play like they did today and give Manning that much time he'll find someone.

#BartScott for this game!

Don't remember. I'm not even sure that was the best rams offense of that era. Just don't think this Denver offense is the best ever. I'll also mention 1998 Minnesota.

Will come down to weather. If it's bad, Seattle wins. If it's not raining/snowing/below 30, Denver wins big.

They scored more points, in one season, than anyone else in the history of the NFL.

They have an argument. Let's be real.

In an era where the QB is a sacred cow and DB's are getting fined for hits that use to get them fat pay checks.

It's a good offense but its not the greatest in NFL history. Come on bro.

They're in the discussion, but the Rams were superior at virtually every position. Hell a case could be made that Warner is one of the greatest playoff QBs ever. Faulk is infinitely better than Denver's running backs combined.

Last 4 years Passing Yards Average per game league wide:

2013 235.6
2012 231.3
2011 229.7
2010 221.6

These just happen to be 1-4 in the ALL TIME passing ave per game for NFL seasons. Its not some secret why this is happening. LINK

This year set the All TIME record for points per game in the NFL in the modern era.
