Did anyone who watched this game agree with this?

They missed a great opportunity, and the surprise, from this viewpoint, was that it was the team’s best player, quarterback Tom Brady, whose mistakes hurt most in the AFC Championship Game.

quote:

Brady’s deep ball off the mark: Brady will have a long offseason after missing two deep balls in this game -- in the first quarter to Julian Edelman and in the second quarter to Austin Collie -- as there was separation and an open window in which to deliver the football both times. The throw to Edelman, in particular, was a huge play in the game. Brady's struggles with the deep ball were a big storyline Sunday.

He missed on 2 throws. Thats it.

They were open for big gains and could of changed the game, but it wasnt like he was missing everywhere.

Ask Manning how many throws it takes to get a label of choker. He was playing exceptionally well against the Saints, but one bad throw changed the game and the perception.

Even Randy Moss couldn't make those catches. Brady was just off today. Even if he makes those plays, Manning would still win this one.

I don't know if it was Brady's fault but in contrast, Manning sure made some throws that were about perfect in small windows.

It's partly responsible for Denver having the ball for 40+ minutes, but not entirely.

This game ended when Talib was injured. And I am not a Brady Fanboy.

Yeah it's on him. The guy can't lead on a deep ball anymore

I wouldn't lay all of it on him but he was more responsible than any other single player.

Denver might have still won if he had played as well as he has in the past FWIW

Yep.

It's been masked by the skeleton crew he throws to, but part of it seems to be due to a bit of a decline, imo.

He was off today and missed some throws that could have made it closer. IMO though I think Denver still wins.
