Second, great episode. The louisiana scenery, with the cypress knees, marsh, hollowed out churches. It's where paradise and despair intersect (to sound like Cohle). I can think of 10 different ways this story can go and I feel that I will still be surprised.

The flashbacks mess me up. I like this show but don't follow what's happening.

We'll they thought they found him back in 95. It was stated in the first episode. They obviously found someone and put them away.
Whether they got the right person or this is some copycat in 2012, remains to be seen.

I think we can already see Governor Tuttle is pushing for an arrest and then new team of detectives will frick it up and make an arrest too early.
