Ray Romano's wife....I don't like her.

Everybody Loves Raymond, but his wife was a count. Always something wrong, always bitching.... Her character was the quintessential lady douchebag.
Am I missing a reason to like her? Just watched an episode (seen a 100 of them), but I want to curb stomp her. Maybe not that, but still....am I wrong to think she is jersey trash? And does she have income? No income, no say....Stupid Bundy didn't hold that rule and look what his life became.

She is frustrating on the show, but I think in a real life situation, you would relate to her more. Ray can be a dumbass, and his whole family is absurd. They cross every boundary imaginable.

I can't remember what it was on, but he did a stand up act a while back where he was talking about how he always just wanted to say "frick YOU DEBRA"

Ray would have cheated. She was annoying and a horrible parent. Those fricking kids lived upstairs. The show became like Three's Company in predictability. Ray is insensitive wife gets mad and they make up with Ray learning the same life lesson over and over again.

I'd be pissed and giving my spouse shite too if I had to deal with my crazy inlaws next door who just show up whenever the hell they feel like it. Add the ultra depressed brother and his weirdo girlfriends and Debra married into hell.

Yes.
1. I recognized a lot of the bullshite I and my family do to my poor wife through Ray and his family's behavior. Debra was a saint to weather all of that.
2. Debra is a Conservative, in stark contrast to most television personalities.
3. Debra was cute as hell on that show and sometimes even downright hot.

Debra was the biggest bitch in the history of American sitcoms, I can agree with that, but at least she had a reason to being a big bitch. With a giant pussy of a husband who doesn't do shite, overbearing and critical in-laws, and a whiny depressed brother in law, I can see her being angry though.
