AC Black flag is on sale for $30 on Uplay

I have been waiting for this to go on sale with the consoles but I have a really good gaming rig and can use my dualshock to play it on PC.
I hate Uplay, but this is a damn good deal. Anyone have experience with the PC version?

I just got it for PS4 the other day from Gamefly, on Sequence 3, really enjoying it.

Yeah I would never buy it just because after I beat it I'll never touch it again or have any interest to but for $30 I'd probably do it.
If the alternative is paying 50-60 for PS4 especially.

It's fine for PC, just the engine is poorly optimized for PC , so depending on your graphics card you may have to play at console-level settings for a reasonable frame rate.

I have no trouble with uplay other than having another login, they give you perks you can use to buy get stuff for achievements too. It may have been a mess at one time, but now it's just another game service, imo.

Just found it on Amazon with the steam code for 30 bucks also. Downloading now

No problem with having to sign in to that. I just want all my downloads through one of these distributions as possible. I am happy to keep getting Uplay rewards.

I now know what you mean... I would have been fine with the game logging into the uplay account but having to launch from uplay is absurd.

I got it with my graphics card, and I'm really enjoying it. It's gorgeous game. If you have a card that can push it to it's limits, it's no contest. That said, what really is?

I recently upgraded to a 7970 and an i7 with 8 gigs ram so I am loving PC games right now.
I am going to finish darksiders 2 and far cry 3 before I jump into AC though.

It plays better on keyboard and mouse. It is the only AC game worth a damn on a PC. See you in 40 to 50 hours.
