quote:

Gov. Andrew Cuomo says the current “schism” in the state Republican party is a smaller version of the split causing so much damage in Washington, D.C., and that “conservative Republicans … have no place in the state of New York, because that’s not who New Yorkers are.”

quote:

You’re seeing that play out in New York. … The Republican Party candidates are running against the SAFE Act — it was voted for by moderate Republicans who run the Senate! Their problem is not me and the Democrats; their problem is themselves. Who are they? Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that’s who they are and they’re the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of New York, because that’s not who New Yorkers are.

Texas leaders say these kinds of divisive things about liberals all the time and y'all cheer them on. How is this any different other than you don't agree with the view?

Can conservatives open up a business in a tax free zone still or now is it just reserved for libs?

It seems like the Guv is defeating their outreach in their ad campaign but then again maybe that's his strategy to attract more libs.

But, apparently it's okay for extreme liberals to elect a Communist mayor of NYC.

Got it.

As usual, Draconian Sanctions, you're full of shite. Show me where a prominent GOP Governor ever said anything similar to this?

Liar.

Isn't he supposed to be the mayor of the entire city? As in everyone that lives in the city and not just people he agrees with?

If you believe the government is there 24/7 to protect you and your family regardless of any and all circumstances, then I guess he does.

I tend to firmly believe that the second amendment protects me and my family by giving me the right to bear arms against all threats that present themselves, including the same government that is supposed to protect me in your make believe world.

I would be more willing to bet they are just fiscally conservative and pro constitution. Libs make way more of a big deal about social issues that conservatives do, except for abortion but that's a reasonable objection.

I think everyone I've ever met really thought they were a moderate.

I'm honest enough to admit that as a minarchist, I'm basically an extreme libertarian.
