Going for couple days at Mardi Gras. Other than the Biltmore. What are a few good watering holes, and restraunts. Also spending a few days in Cashiers so any help there would also be great.

Salsa's is good...love their food.

Mayfel's is OK if the wait at Tupelo Honey's is too long...it's next door.

If you are staying near the Biltmore try Rezaz.

Wicked Weed is a good craft beer place downtown. Same with Green Man Brewing.

If you need a "sports bar" Pack Tavern has TVs with sports and a decent draft beer selection.

You can check out their website and see if there is anything going on at Highland Brewing..they have a big tasting room and bands..no food served but they usually have a food truck outside.

If you are a real beer geek and have time, Pisgah Brewing is about 20 minutes away..or you could hit a grocery store and pick up a growler. They have bands there too sometime.

Hike some trails.

Just went in November - I posted some stuff then (on mobile so don't know how to find it now). The Admiral is awesome... Also, try the Brews Cruise.. Great, affordable easy way to checkout breweries, usually 3 or 4, including tour, tasting and transportation - ESP for the ones not downtown.

It's a great place - enjoy!
