Graduating in May. lots of family coming out. They all want to go to an authentic Louisiana place. Everyone is from up north.
We've already tried Nola and Emril's other restaurant in New Orleans.
Looking for suggestions

The best restaurant in New Orleans is August, Besh's place. I don't think there's really even a question.
However, it is not "New Orleans food", whatever that is. You did ask for the best though.
If you want "New Orleans", probably the best is Commander's, as others have suggested. I don't think its as good as August by any stretch, but it is certainly a wonderful restaurant.

I would strike this from the question.
Then go to Commanders or Herbsaint.

Commander's Palace, Restaurant August, Muriel's (Beyonce just had her mom's b-day there it's good too) or Palace Cafe would be good, all in NOLA.

For authentic Louisiana cooking which is a mix of South LA and New Orleans dishes, I suggest Bon Ton. Peruse some menus of all of the suggested restaurants since you have an idea of what the folks are looking for.
Bon Ton is not open on weekends, though, so keep that in mind.
They might enjoy K-Paul's as well.
These are not the BEST restaurants of the city overall, but excellent for the type of food they serve. Some of the other restaurants suggested are more eclectic in nature.
You might want to consider Arnaud's for first timers, as well. It's festive and good. If they're around for Sunday brunch, it would be great fun for visitors.
Congrats and good move to get an early reservation during graduation time.

If you're willing to drive to NOLA, from BR, to eat then drive over to Lacombe and eat at La Provence.
