The Rock Town Distillery in Little Rock makes some fantastic gin. Their whiskey is pretty meh. But I can put down some of the gin.

Is it widely distributed?
What is the pricing?

I like me some gin and would like to check it out.

Honey whiskey I can do without.

Yeah, not sure that you should call a random honey whiskey made by a bartender in Arkansas "Premium".

Plus, he is planning to use only the finest "Bear Bottled" honey. Move over Julian Van Winkle....

Its not distributed in LA yet (they claim they are expanding), but it is available in the states around us I believe. Its called Brandon's Gin and it runs about 27.

Thanks. I will try and locate. I am in Georgia, so it may be a while getting here.

I've never had their gin, but I agree with you on the whiskey. It is average at best and definitely not worth the price tag. Tastes like buttery popcorn and tree bark.

Uh

Rock City times is a spoof site.

Maybe we need to adopt (***) Sarcastrics symbols to help folks.

I thought the bartender's fondness for bear shaped jar honey was a give away.

To be honest, I didn't read the entire article at all. I was just commenting on the distillery that I know of in ARK

It wasnt a dead giveaway when he said he would only age his whiskys 8 months because anything after that would decrease the quality??

Rock Times puts out some good stuff. The best was the story about a (real) local food blogger who went into a coma after too many Red Lobster biscuits. Got picked up by some international press!
