Season 5 and now Season 6 of Dexter SPOILERS

This season really isnt as terrible as i thought it would be based on everyone's comments.
I'm assuming the tailspin is imminent as ive read it only gets worse from here.

Season 5 was the last good one, IMO, but it was the worst of the "best", if that makes sense.
I watched season 6 and the first two episodes of Season 7. Never finished it.

I've been watching Dexter for the first time the past few weeks. I just finished S7. I also read that everyone though it took a nose-dive after S4. While I agree that the first 4 seasons are the best, 5-7 aren't nearly as bad as I thought it would be based on the comments. 5-7 do have some major plot holes and really strange/bad character development, but I still want to watch it to the end.

Exactly how I feel. Seasons 5 through 7 make Dexter into a guilty pleasure rather than an actually well made show, but they are still a fun watch. Though I will say that Season 7 is complete shite show.

never got the hate with the lumen story. the group of friends was pretty interesting and i enjoyed watching them get picked off one by one.

i enjoyed season 5 with lumen. i thought it was a nice way of overcoming what happened in 4.
the season with tom hanks' boy is by far the one i least like (maybe season 7? idk)
