Is he best at NT or End? I feel like he does well at NT and I'd we get another end, we'd be stacked

I disagree. He's better used shooting between the guard and tackle.

His best fit is how we used him this year, rotating between NT and DE. Similar to what the Ravens do with Haloti Ngata.

It gives you way more options with Jenkins and Bunkley at NT and Coleman and Foster at DE.

In the 3-4, as a 5 tech (end). He's too athletic to waste at nose. IMO

Definitely an end. Feel like he'd be wasted as a true NT

I thought we drafted Jenkins to be our NT anyway...

This. You play him like the Ravens do with Ngata and the Pats did with Seymour. He's athletic enough to be a slant NT and disrupt at the POA. He's also stout enough to be a SDE and take-on double teams.

Release him, our best defensive player (Will Smith) will be back next year.

DE is where he should stay, if you look at when he is at that position the offense tends to run away from him...

I love him on the end. We need someone who's a buscuit shy of 400 to hold down our NT position. After Wilfork's injury, don't be surprised if the Pats cut him...... should we?

Someone start a should we thread.

Do we go to a true 3-4 next year, or stay with the hybrid we ran this season because of injuries?

I guess it depends on the talent they can acquire, i think they'll always run a hybrid of defense but i think they will look to be more traditional 3-4 than they were this year if they can acquire better OLB personnel.

I would assume Hybrid.

We will gain Butler, but likely lose Haralson. And I don't think we have to money to make a lot of other moves on defense.

So, same/similar personel = same/similar defense

We will probably run a bunch of 5 man secondaries as well, with whomever back there similar to this season. 2 LB's most likely Lofton and Hawthorne, who both stink in coverage and are just okay at run defense.

He was so good this year. I'm pretty surprised at how quickly he became a beast.
