Can I weed out pot users as potential employee because I don't feel that they would be 100% safety conscience operating heavy machinery?
Keep in mind not discriminate, just weed them out.

Imagine if people had freedom to ingest whatever substances they wanted and people also had freedom to hire and fire based on whatever criteria they choose.

If they're not using on the job I don't see why you'd be any more worried about them than someone who likes to have drink alcohol on their off time.

I see no distinction with non-tolerance of alcohol in the workplace. If pot is legalized, that does not mean it's appropriate in a work environment.

I'm going to pray tonight, thanking God for blessing my undeserving arse with a job for the last seventeen years.
