How good is "Justified"?

My dad has been trying to get me to watch it for a while now, but for some reason I've been hesitant.
So, where would you rank it? Boardwalk level?

I was hesitant. Finally started watching it a few months back and caught all of the seasons on A Prime.
I wouldn't rank it even close to Boardwalk level. There are plenty of eye roll plot moments but it is still an entertaining solid show.

Personally, I like it better than Boardwalk.

I guess it depends if you want a slower paced more realistic show or action with little to no realism.

Started off great then wandered a bit and now it seems more focused.
I'd give it a solid B.

There is plenty of cheese and anyone saying otherwise is lying but a little cheese mixed with action and an entertaining cast makes for a good show.

My dad always told me to watch it. I was like ehhh oliphant is overacting country gunsling and downtown anderson(major league back to the minors) is in it as an idiot. Im not watching this garbage. Finally did and love the show

If you ever read and liked an Elmore Leonard novel (or any sort of noir, pulpy crime novel) then you'll enjoy the show. The dialogue, humor, and characters are all top notch. In particular, the season with the Bennetts is one of the best of any series IMO.
