I did know her, and she was a sweet sweet woman. Heard about it last night, and am truly saddened. RIP Dorothy Faye.

True definition of a Southern Lady. My ex wife works for Ms. Dorothy's Son in law.... They are all first class people...
Minus my ex of course.
RIP!

I didn't know her but meet her and Coach Mac at the LSU vs Fla. game @ Fla. Arsnpargers first game. I sat next to coach and Ms Dorothy. We talked the whole game. After 5 minutes it was like she knew you your entire life.

I had the honor of waiting on her and Coach Tom Osborne's (Nebraska) wife when they ate lunch at Jacque's in the Sheraton on Corporate drive 1976. Pure class and elegance . . . and a good tipper!

Prayers to the family. Did not know her personally but all that I have heard and read, what a great lady. Too many of the ole school people are passing away. Only means that this world is getting a little worse off each time an older generation person passes on. God Bless.

Never met her, I've never heard anything but great things about that lady.

May she rest in peace.

Grew up in the hood where Coach Mac lived. Played ball on the playground with his son. Very, very modest digs compared to the more recent coaches mansions. She was a very sweet, very elegant lady. A picture of class. RIP Ms. Dorothy Faye

Coach Mac was like that, also. I had the privilege of meeting him at a golf tournament once after he was back in Baton Rouge and he answered all my questions like he was enjoying the conversation as much as I was.
RIP, Miss Dorothy Faye...you were the First Lady of LSU football for 18 years. May you be reunited with your beloved Cholly Mac.
