Kid Icarus: Uprising worth the buy?

As an old Game Boy / Kid Icarus fan, i'm excited to buy but scared the new Kid Icarus for 3DS will suck.
Is it worth the purchase?
Do I need that stupid stand?

It's epic and one of the best games on 3DS, yes get it.
Really hoping they make a sequel or HD Uprising on the WiiU.
Also pick up the circle pad pro. It makes it much better as well as Monster Hunter if you play that.

No you don't need the stand but I would recommend the circle pad pro, or circle pad pro XL.

I believe so, and yes they don't make them any more (pretty sure). Just not many games that use it but the ones that do are some of the better games on the system. Resident Evil, Kid Icarus, Monster Hunter, Metal Gear Solid and Fire Emblem are the ones I know off the top of my head.

I couldnt get into Fire Emblem.
Have you played the Luigi's Manshion for 3DS yet? The one for GC had been a big surprise and this one is just as fun.

Just finished Luigi's Mansion. Really surprised at how good at was, I liked the original and thought this was even better. Last mission before the final boss was intense.

man I wish you would've told me that you were interested in KI. I would've sent it to you for fire emblem. I did not have the stand or the extra slider thing which definitely affect my views on the game. It is clear that this game is one of the better designed and thought out of any of the 3DS games. The gameplay is deep and not tedious. I couldn't get in to it because I relied on the stylus which gets old. Graphics and fun level are high.
