Pruitt is an ace recruiter and a relentless worker. Seems like a great hire for UGA.

Wonder if this nets them any recruits?

You'd think Carter is a sure thing now. Looking at their commit list, nobody jumps off the page as being guys that have been mentioned with UGA.

Carter should be all UGA hopefully. With Pruits resume Green may be on board now. And maybe even sneak 1 or 2 from FSU's commit list that love Pruitt. You never know?

This might help with Christian Miller. KS would have helped MORE, but still...

I don't think FSU will lose any current commits. We might be out of the running for MH. But I have a feeling FSU will make another solid DC hire and still be in the running for LO/MH

does Pruitt run a 4-3 or 3-4 defense?

I've heard he runs both, depending on the opponent. I think (correct me if I'm wrong) that he ran a 4-3 primarily at FSU but he of course worked and taught a 3-4 while at Bama.

I sure hope so. We definitely need a better secondary.

He wants to run a 3 man base

It will be his 1st time running his own scheme though

Had to run mostly 4 man at FSU because of personnel, had some variation but not much

Doesn't Carter want to be a 4-3 DE not a 3-4 OLB?

Carter's main recruiter is Kelly. If Kelly leaves, then FSU is fricked with Lo.

He's said the opposite in the past.

FSU is fricked because Richt is at UGA.

This. He was going to UGA already, the only things that could have messed that up were a poor DC hire or bottled lightning.

Pugh is probably the only one we'd have any chance at and that is very slim. The only other two I would want are already enrolled.
