I'm just saying he's not worth the 1st round pick he was taken at this past year. 2nd round yes I would draft him

All I'm saying is Calvin is the best WR in fantasy just not worth the first round pick this upcoming year. You can get better production if you take a RB and next best WR with the following pick.

His second best option was Woodhead since Gates is ancient

technically, Allen was 3rd on the team in receptions. Behind Woodhead and Gates

I don't think Floyd moves up that much.

I see Alshon being up there though. Perhaps Marshall being there will keep Alshon a little lower still.

Alshon will be a top 10 WR. Probably somewhere behind Julio

There is usually 1 rookie WR who stands out from the rest his rookie year

Allen
AJ
Mike Williams
Etc

Year 2 is when they start to show promise

Just look at this past year

Alshon, Kendall wright, josh Gordon, randle, Marvin jones

Julio, Torrey smith, Randall Cobb

Dez, damaryious, Gronk, Graham, Hernandez, decker, Antonio brown

All those guys were decent enough rookies but really took the next step year 2

So I'd look for guys like Patterson, Austin, stills, marlon brown, Terrence Williams, woods, Dobson, hunter etc as maybe your flex or WR3 next year with possible wr1/wr2 upside

Can you get better production than Calvin and the next best RB?

Well you could have gotten McCoy or Calvin around the same pick this past draft. Then taken Julio Jones (granted he doesnt get hurt) or Marshall instead of the next best back. At least that's what I did.

If you look at it that way, there are many things you Could have done. Calvin should be the 1st WR taken. He's proven it year in and year out.

Calvin,Gordon,D. Thomas, Julio, Jeffery, Marshall, Bryant, Green, are all ahead of him(no particular order). That's 8 then I would put Antonio Brown, Jordy Nelson, Garcon ahead of him.

DeSean Jackson belongs on the list before Allen list, too, especially with the emergence of Foles. And, while I'm at it, I think Hilton is there, too. I'm not doubting that Allen will make a step forward in 2014, but I think the cautious will stick with the tried and true when they select their No. 1 WR. Also, most WRs make their biggest jump in production in the third year. Dez was a good example of a third-year bump.

I got Antonio Brown in the 5th this year. He was supposed to be my No. 2 WR, but was elevated to No. 1 when Julio went out. If I could get Allen in the 5th round and slated to be my No. 2 WR next year, I'd probably be okay with that.

im seriously considering keeping him, gordon, and bmarsh in a ppr and saying frick running backs

Do this and pick up backs like Vereen and Woodhead and you will have a great start to a playoff team
