So I just made the mistake of going to a Planet Fitness

Traveling for business, stopped into a local Planet Fitness.
Ok cool, I'll do some squats. How bout some dead lifts?
Wait, they only have smith machines.
Well I guess I'll do chest. Let's bench. Wait, no barbell bench stations. They only have smith machines and dumbells.
Meanwhile, there's signs all over the place about not judging others and such.
I've officially entered Workout Hell. Should have just gone to the hotel gym.

Seems like the place sucks, but why can't you do chest with dumbells?

Aren't a bunch of them 24 hr? Likely has to do with them being unsupervised at times.

85 lbs. Was never going to do chest today cuz I did that yesterday.
Place is a joke for anyone trying to do legs or back. Did Stiff-legged deadlifts with DBs. But squats on Smith machines are a joke.
