Hill is gone but I honestly think that Leonard can and will step in and be one of if not the best back in the sec. Yes he will be a true freshman but I truly belive that he will be even better than what we ecpect. He is a once in a lifetime player.

Still just a true freshman RB man, temper your expectations.

Hill had one of the greatest seasons in recent memory and we lost 3 games. Can't expect LF to do that in his true freshman year.

Fournette will have ample "space" to ease into that feature back role because of Magee. I wouldn't expect him to maintain that +7 yds/carry stat with more carries, but he's productive enough to shoulder some of the burden. And still have Hilliard.

There are plenty of recent examples of freshman RB's in the SEC that have come in and been great right away. Lattimore and Gurley come to mind.

I didn't say he wouldn't be successful. I think he'll go for between 750-900 sharing major carries. That would be great for a true freshman. Don't kid yourself in thinking he'll be a workhorse back immediately with proven veterans on the team. Not how Les operates.

My point is Hill had one of the greatest rushing seasons in recent memories last year, but it doesn't automatically transfer to team success. My worry is that our passing efficiency will drop significantly where teams will load up the box on us and cause real problems for the offense.

I won't temper my expectations. Recent true freshman backs to eclipse 1000 yards

Michael Dyer 182 att, 1092 yards, 5 TDs
1 rec, 8 yards

Marcus Lattimore 240 att. 1197 yards, 17 TDs,
29 recs, 417 yards, 2 TDs

Alex Collins 190 att, 1026 yards, 5 TDs
11 rec, 63 yards

TJ Yeldon 175 att, 1108 yards, 12 TDs
11 rec, 131 yards, 1 TD

Todd Gurley 222 att, 1385 yards, 17 TDs
16 rec, 117 yards

I say he'll be 170 att 1250 yards, 13 TDs
22 rec 302 yards 3 TDs

Domination baby!

Hill finished with 145 carries after only playing majorly in 8 games with Hilliard, Ware, Magee, and Ford ahead of him.

I see Fournette as the #2 from jump with about 170 carries.

is that his mom and dad in the grey shirts? the purple eye shadow should have tipped it off.

also is that his brother in the black shirt?
