One of my favorite tigers. Will never forget that TD against UGA in 03'. Never saw a ton of playing time but made the most of it when given the chance.

Shyrone Carey

Some may disagree but I think Brandon Taylor was extremely underrated at LSU. Dude did some much. Him being such a smart player allowed TM7 to roam and just play football.

Buster Davis. He was overshadowed by Early Doucet and Dwayne Bowe, but had the best hands on the team at that time, I think.

I've always been a fan of Sonic Sam Montgomery. Where he came from, the story about his brother and his fierce attitude when he WANTED to play.

I hope him getting back in the NFL is a sign of good things to come.

I'd love to see him rise to greatness with a long career.

Just always liked his style.

I wouldn't really call him underrated.

Lavar was a stud. I had a thought earlier wondering what sort of attention he would have had if he was able to shine on his own.

Also, I wonder if Sam's stock falling from character issues caused Laver to slide in the draft. Mostly out of principle of not picking a backup before a starter.

he was a 1st round draft pick who never panned out in the league. If anything he was overrated

Ron mothaeffin Brooks

Appearing in 53 games, he accumulated 90 tackles, including 12.5 for loss, 5.5 sacks, ten pass breakups, 3 interceptions, forced five fumbles while recovering three. He only started three games in his career at LSU, mainly due to the fact he was playing behind many talented cornerbacks such as Patrick Peterson, Morris Claiborne, Tyrann Mathieu and Tharold Simon.

I'm gonna think outside the box and say Deion Jones for a current player.

I swear, every time this guy is on the field he finds the ball. He also plays with an energy and swagger this team could use more of.

We lose to Kentucky in 2002 if he doesn't catch that pass.
