Tri Tronics, but that is probably more collar than you need for that purpose.

I went with this

Worked pretty well. First remote stopped holding a charge after a few months, they replaced it for free without issue.

Collar set on the lower options to shock the dog and it usually stops him from whatever he was doing wrong. (90 pound American bulldog) Sometimes have issue with the collar not touching the dogs neck though an not getting the response I wanted. (Probably my fault with collar too loose on him)

If the specific issue is the dog jumping up, I can help with that. A noted hunting dog trainer, the guy had several books out and I met him at a DU dinner years ago, told me this one and I have used it successfully over the years on all types of breeds. When the dog jumps up, grab his paws and DO NOT LET GO. He will start whining and then he will try to bite your hands. Shove his paw in his mouth when he tries to bite.

Keep it up for a couple of minutes and then let go. Do this every time he jumps up and he will quit.

I had a Black Lab who was dumb as a rock. This worked on him in one day.

Too much work, the OP would rather push a button and shock his pet.

Dogtra and Tri Tronics. I have had both for off lease work. Preferred Dogtra but only b/c I thought their set-up for using with multiple dogs at once was easier.

I have not tried this. I think I will. I've been contemplating the same this as bee Rye for the same reason.

I used a shock bark collar on Butters when he was a puppy cause he wouldn't stop barking.

Worked great. First time it shocked him he didn't bark at all for like 5 hours after. After him wearing it for a couple weeks I took the batteries out and would just put the collar on him while I was sleeping during the day(when he used to bark all the time). That worked just as well.

My wife likes the Pet Bark Terminator; you can get 'em at Walmart for about $60. I gave her one for her birthday last year.

Hell yes. And when I say, "Doggystyle" she's on all fours before you can say Lassie.

I do this already, doesn't phase him, just protects me.

main issue is my wife is preggers, so I was thinking a shock collar to train him to stop jumping now will make it easier to train him to stay away from the kid when we need him to
