Is ear hair the fastest growing hair on the body?

I seem to pull out 3 or 4 strands a day. Anyone else have this same issue? Can I finally call myself a man?

I don't understand how ear hair can be dormant for 35-40 years, then all of a sudden appear and grow faster than a beard.

hair quits growing in some places and they have to come out in others
