Does that hurt us badly in the recruiting game?

He is well liked in the Monroe area. So much so I've been told by several people things would've been different this year if he was recruiting the area from the start.

Higher-paying job/defensive coordinator job/NFL may come calling

Guessing the OP is just making a hypothetical question. Depending on the timing of it, we could bring in Ed O and it wouldn't hurt too much. It would remain to be seen how Lorenzo Carter would feel since it sounds like he has built a solid rapport with Haley

if we replaced him with Ed Orgeron it would not hurt a bit.

We can stop this fascination with Orgeron. He isnt coming. He has a long earned reputation for dancing very close to the line with NCAA rules. Miles doesnt need that drama.

The days of being concerned about the NCAA and its rules are over.

I think they can plug someone who is just as good of a recruiter in that role.

He's an obvious troll that can't go 2 days without calling someone a band geek. Check out his post history.

Maybe from a recruiting standpoint, but Brick is a top tier position coach, IMO. He can also sell our track record in the NFL like nobody's business.

did he get ole miss put on probation? What schools has he gotten put on probation?

At the rate Miles is losing top 5 players in La, maybe we need some more aggresive recruiters.

I think he's saying you are a band nerd that couldn't make the football team and he's the bad arse QB that got the Homecoming queen..

Or maybe i just read too much into his statement...

Not against it at all.

Richard Gill was the president of Shaw in Baton Rouge, and the president of TAF when he passed a few years ago at the age of 64.
