This will not end well for us if it goes down. We're losing enough top-flight LA recruits to BAMA as it is, and this guy is one of the best recruiters in the nation with deep ties to LA.

LINK

And save me the NCAA violation risk BS as a reason we don't want him and make it seem like this is bad for the gumps. That organization ain't doing shite.

I disagree.

They can have him. All I see about Kiffin is he's a good recruiter. As much as I don't like the guy, Saban can recruit. He doesn't need Kiffin to do any of that stuff.

Kiffin thinks he's all that as far as a coach goes. Orgeron does as well.

Look at it like this:

Orgeron: Sorry you got fired and I was more successful in the short time I was the head coach than you were.

Kiffin: Oh, I don't hold any hard feelings.

Saban and Kiffin: You ever mix oil and water?

Even Orgeron. It's a nightmare waiting to happen. Everyone wants to be chief but there are too many Indians.

If there wasn't a microscope with Saban, there sure as hell is now with Kiffin on board.

It's not about his coaching ability.

It's about his recruiting ability...specifically in Louisiana.

LSU came back to power by locking down Louisiana recruiting. That advantage s being eroded as we speak, and BAMA having Ed O will exacerbate and accelerate that erosion.

Frankly, it's hard to comprehend. It seems as if Saban is deliberately sabotaging the program. I guess we'll have to see what happens.

Here's my conspiracy theory... Saban was going to jump ship and go to UT, but some of those Bama boosters put the screws to him somehow to make him stay. Now he's tearing the program down.

i said it in another thread. Doesn't Orgeron hate LSU, so why would he come here?

You seem like really worried about this. Calm down

Orgeron and Kiffen on the same staff? I can already see the major recruiting violations coming out as Saban announces his retirement to get out of dodge

Because Orgeron and Kiffen have been trainwrecks almost everywhere they've gone, and they're together again on the same staff. I also suspect part of Kiffen's downfall at USCw was a result of Orgeron's undermining him. Sudden turnaround the minute Kiffen leaves--hmmm. If that's even partially true, they ain't gonna play nicely together in T-Town.

I agree with another poster who said Gus has gotten in Saban's head and he's making crazy moves that will blow up the whole thing. This is going to be fun to watch.
