LINK

can some explain how they reached the conclusion of a halo movie when the tweet say Fantastic Four reboot. Also it says filming is in Baton Rouge

I think a movie COULD be awesome if they did it right but they already announced a halo TV series produced by Spielberg so I don't see this happenjng

It's cool. It would be just like Robocop.

Did no one watch

For the budget they were on they did some pretty good work.. granted you didn't get to see much of the Master Chief or the Covenant

Forward Unto Dawn was awesome.

A Halo movie seems to get new life like every couple of years. Peter Jackson was originally supposed to make it and seemed to be really into it then it fell apart.

Then Neill Blomkamp, who directed District 9 and Elysium was supposed to make it.

I want one to be made, but I am also afraid of someone fricking it up like every video game movie has been.

Not so fast, my friend.

Rumors have been circulating about the revival of the Halo feature film for a long time, but Microsoft is getting ahead of recent Internet rumblings. A Microsoft representative told GameSpot today, "As we’ve previously stated, we have no plans for a 'Halo' motion picture at this time."

Your avatar appropriately sums up my feelings about Microsoft's statement
