DT recruiting - which cant we pull a stud?

We lost our two top guys, who probably played 75 percent of the snaps. And really no one who's shown any star potential waiting in the wings. And with your reputation as DLU, I cannot understand this. Was our Achilles heel this year and will be again next year if we don't close the talent gap at this position.

Travonte valentine according to most analysts is a high four star prospect. We still have Godchaux till we lose him. Breeland Speaks is possible and we already have multiple 4 star DT's on our roster. Bain, Gilmore, Lacoture etc.

Well the two that left didn't show much as true frosh either. None of them except downs and lacouture in the last several years played significant snaps as a true frosh. Gilmore and bain should be good. CL will be a beast for us.

Speaks was a back up plan. Maybe a good player but if so great, why wasn't he offered earlier? Valentine would be a solid get but he's far from a tiger lock. You guys need to put the cool aid down. Your false optimism almost caused this board to crash 10 days ago

wasn't freak the best dtackle to ever come out of louisiana when lsu recruited him? we do pull in studs, but it's up to them on how they are going to perform. the coaching is good. we had just one season with subpar dtackle play. that position will get better next year.

Posting while deer hunting you dicks. Again, I hope these redshirt freshman are great but they haven't played a damn snap. Some of you hype up kids so much that they don't live up to expectations. Bf this season, what did freak do on the field on LSU to make you believe he would be an all American as some predicted?
