Yea it's something like that. Not sure if it's 17 years exactly or not but I know it takes place over a long period of time

Flashback.

I assume the long haired MM is recalling where the serial killer first became apparent. They are on the case for an extended period of time and the long haired one and bald haired Woody are talking about it and the events that lead to solving the case.

LSU was just mentioned!

This was mainly shot in South Louisiana, Nola and further South. A little on the North Shore and near Angola.
