Was just speaking in terms of their toughness (Kelly's insane return from ACL injury) and you could take one look at Kelly's highlights and tell he's more elusive than Shaw. It's not debatable. The kid flies.
I'm not even ready to say he might be better than Shaw overall, but he's absolutely inarguably more elusive.

quote: Vulnerables has definitely improved the D from the past years, but I don't understand how this was "nailed" by Dabo. They gave up 35 to OSU and all I have heard is how good the D played. Gave up 50 plus to FSU. Couldn't stop a SCar 3rd down for anything.
Did you see our D under Steele? Anything would be an improvement over him. We lead the nation in TFLs this season and were significantly improved on third downs (outside of the South Carolina game ).
I wasn't overly high on the Venables hire at the time, but he has done masterfully here. Next year the D should take a big step IF we can find a DB or two.

What? His highschool highlights? What highlights could I look at to see this phenom who is more elusive than Shaw? Highschool does not count. Fast does not = elusive. If only Shaw could come back from injury and make big plays I might could mention him in the same breath as the great Chad Kelly. Get real.
