Remember this game?

Apparently you can still play.

it has been a long time since I have seen one of those...probably would be pretty fun to mess with as an adult...

My dad got one of those for my Brother and I a few Christmas's ago, we played the hell out of it. I never really got the passing down though

I actually had no idea how to pass until I saw it in that video...

I use to play the heck out of those as a kid. Watchign the video it seemed they could actually have a little control over their movements. Mine were chaotic.

That's awesome. I remember playing many games, devising many strategies and gameplans, only to watch my ball carrier run in circles.

Also, I had to make up house rules for kicking and passing - that stuff was nigh impossible.

I never knew you could actually control what happened.

Same with fooseball. I was playing against my buddy the other day and he was actually passing between players and shite. I thought you just spun the handles and hoped something good happened.

I still have mine from the early 70's. Painted one team the Saints! Still works and my kicker still goes wide left. Need a trade.

same here...apparently, they didn't mention any of that in the instructions...

we would just line them up, turn it on, and watch the ensuing clusterfrick...

Apparently those guys in the video do it pretty well. I saw a banner on one of the walls with a website, it turns out there's a league with championship tournaments and such.

I remember an NFL halftime show about 25 years ago where they ran a play on one of those and then diagrammed it on the Telestrator.

my field got a dent in the corner of the endzone so all the players slowly migrated to that point. it then turned into our paper football table.
