Without knowing anything else, Chase Freedom.
No fee. Doesn't require great credit. I think everybody should have this card. Good 1st card.

1% back on everything
5% back on gas half of the year
5% back on Amazon purchases during the 4th quarter(Christmas)
Ultimate Rewards mall

I agree with you.

How did the whole start your own office supply store thing go?

Northern VA was awesome. Going to move in with the in laws very soon.

What's the rewards mall?

I need the card for business expenses that will be reimbursed so any extra perks are welcome.

It's actually in the works More from the wife.

LLC paperwork is completed and waiting for approval. Researching CC processors and likely just going with Paypal since I currently do a lot of business with them.

Contacted Incomm(company responsible for VR) to find a distributor in my area to stock my "store" with gift cards, and told him I'd call him back when I'm set up and ready to go.

Looks like I'm going to be operating at around a 4% return on points when all said and done plus the benefit of not having to leave the house.

I'll keep you posted.

Agreed as well. I have this card. The best is getting the cashback rewards, you can also sync your rewards into Amazon and use your points there.

I noticed with Google Maps.

I finally tried my Chase Ink over at OfficeMax in Harahan the other day. I had a smile on my face all day after the visit.

Right.
Do you fly a specific airline delta/AA/SW etc frequently?

Do you travel to larger cities or rural areas, international etc?

Basically do you want to achieve Perks/status for being a frequent user or do you need/want a lot of options?

No specific airline necessarily and not much fly time now. Maybe in the future. Houston and Dallas might be the only ones currently but mostly stay in BR and Nola. I guess the chase freedom card sounds like a good deal for what I need. Considering travel is reimbursed as well

Sounds like a lot of driving. Maybe go with the penfed gas card? 5% cash back on gas purchases year round.

Chase Freedom is a solid card though and will help you"earn" the sapphire

Yeah we get that, but he's saying if you're driving a lot to get something with good gas perks. Get an additional 5% back after you get reimbursed from work
