Try calling Bevi Seafood on Airline.

Went a few weeks ago for lunch. They have plate lunches, gumbo, po boys, and boiled seafood. Also can buy live seafood, if that is your game plan.

Bevi(old River Pond) on Airline between Trans and Clearview. Ex chef from Southern Yacht club, good poboys as well.

Harbor Seafood had them before Xmas for $5.25 a pound.

I've heard good things about Bevi.

Bevi and Galley in Metairie, Harbor in Kenner, & Deanie's in Bucktown have all had them at sometime post Thanksgiving.
