Alphamine taken off shelves?

I went to GNC yesterday to get some Alphamine by PES and they said it had been recalled but knew nothing more. Anyone else like this stuff and/or know why it was recalled?

Liver damage

My guess is because you don't read FDA bulletins and it isn't widely publicized, as taking it off the shelves will have the same effect.
Also, it was just pulled in November, so the class action lawsuit commercials won't happen for another few months.
