From page 42 regarding Firearms on WMA's during closed seasons.

Active and retired law enforcement officers in compliance with POST requirements, Federal Law Enforcement Officers and holders of Louisiana concealed handgun permits or permit holders from a reciprocal state, who are in compliance with all other state and federal firearm regulations, may possess firearms on WMA's, provided these firearms are not used for any hunting purpose.

Played it a few times. I think it was "Putain!
..Charger then somthing like Fumee (smoked)

Kinda garbled but if pressed I 'd say."Bitch charged me, smoked it!"
Don't quote me. That's what it sounded like to me and that was french BTW

Right, but the question was about archery season. You can't carry then.

Ok. Just curious, what do you do if a large hog charges and you don't have a firearm?

We shot a 200 lb plus boar last year. my son standing on a ranger hit him at 150 yards as he exited the woods into a field with his 243 and blew his back leg almost off, and he turned and charged him. Another kid was standing next to the ranger and his eyes got as big as golf balls. We onloaded on that beast and hit him 11 times, with 270 243 and AR-15. He turned about 30 feet from them and an toward a road. It was like the wild west as we unloaded on him. Like a freaking tank. In the heavy woods you would be toast.

Yeah, I don't know what TigerDeacon is talking about. If you're in the bush and a 270 lb hog comes after you and you don't have a firearm, then somebody is more than likely finding your body.

Did he not shoot because in the heat of the moment he forgot the safety? On a mobile, couldn't see it that well.
