As a catholic, even I can laugh at this...

As If simply being a normal human and having a value for life wasn't enough... Or facing heavy prison time didn't keep you from murdering someone... This is probably the best way to reduce the murder rate in Nola. Keep up the good work...

Let's start quoting more from the bible and putting it on signs. That would be fun.

Doesn't look like it's even in the right garden.

Not the only city I've seen this in

Maybe it is and it's used as a defense mechanism for the outsiders?

Wasn't a knock on NOLA, just the idea of it. If the killaz don't know that God isn't too fond of murder, glad they're informed now.

Trying to clean up the violence and murder in the worst parts of the city is hilarious. frick people who try to better their communities right? Especially the churches and the church members who care about those who are being slain senselessly.

I think it's meant to rally the people in these crime ridding communities more than stop criminals.

That's been around for a good 10 years.

That's what it takes to get people to get pissed off and want to do something about the murder rates? Not the vast amount of reports on the subject?

Longer that that. Closer to a few thousand years. That shite is as old as Moses

Maybe so. But then again maybe not. So why even try? Just let it keep happening if what you try might look stupid.

I thought that was an anti-abortion thing
Posted on 1/9/14 at 7:53 pm to Melvin
That would make a lot more sense.

I assume you also laugh when you see the signs that say "don't drink and drive"?
Similar if you ask me.

"Thou" and "Shalt" might cause some interpretive problems
But at least it's not written in cursive

What's the story behind this sign? I figured something specific happened in New Orleans because I saw it all over the city and its outskirts while there.
Eta: oh, it's pro-life crap? Makes sense now. I wasn't connecting it to crime lol

Someone drinking and driving isn't even in the same ballpark as someone who would commit murder.
It being about abortion would be more similar to the level of drinking and driving.
