Looking to pick up a fuzz pedal for my rig. Currently playing with a single coil american strat as well as a double humbucker strat into a boutique dumble style amp. I can get a decent fuzz with the amp alone, but needing a little more grit so to speak. Think Anders Osborne tone.

TIA.

what fuzz tone are you looking for? fuzz face, tonebender, big muff, etc...

there are so many pedalmakers out there now. it's really a matter of what you prefer. fulltone, mjm, skreddy, analogman, red witch, zvex......

checkout theses guys. they're bound to carry something that interests you.

I'm personally a fuzz factory fan. Nothing sounds like it.

The Big Muff is a classic. I'm using a Danelectoro Daddy O for my nasty tone these days.

Devi ever makes boutique fuzz pedals and they are considered the best on the market...

All handmade out of Portland. There's like 50 different types.

Yeah, Big Muff is solid.

I'm not sure I've ever heard a fuzz pedal I just flat out didn't like.

Even this SUPER simple DIY one sounds good

Fuzz Factory will rip your face off.

Big Muff Pi is my favorite but I hate how much real estate it takes up on my pedal board.

I can't stand mine, want to buy it? Played around with it for a Long time and just couldn't find anything on it that I liked.

Here is a tone I like:

Gary Clark, Jr - When My Train Pulls In

Is his fuzz from a pedal or because the guitar is a semi hollow?

They can be finicky as hell. REALLY gotta take the time to work with it and find something.

Personally that's too fuzzy for me. Just me though. I really like his playing. That's from the pedal. The guitar body doesn't create distortion.
