WASHINGTON — The Justice Department put an avowed political supporter of President Obama in charge of the criminal probe into the IRS’s targeting of tea party groups, according to top Republicans who said Wednesday that the move has ruined the entire investigation.
House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa and subcommittee Chairman Jim Jordan said they’ve discovered the head of the probe is Barbara Kay Bosserman, a trial lawyer in the Justice Department who donated more than $6,000 to Mr. Obama’s 2008 and 2012 campaigns, as well as several hundred dollars to the national Democratic Party.
“The department has created a startling conflict of interest,”

my prediction:
We the taxpayers are going to pay this guy $400+ an hour for several months.
This will result in a final report validating the administration's story,
but it will contain mild criticism about better oversight being needed (in order to appear objective).

You nailed it, spot on, but the attorney is a woman so it will be $800 an hour.

Really not sure how they find someone truly objective. Maybe they should have a joint deal? I'm not sure.

Anyone else but the Obama administration and this woman Holder appointed to investigate the IRS scandal, would be dismissed as an obvious conflict of interest.
But Holder will say it is racist towards him and Obama to dare question their brilliance.
I wonder if a reporter will ask Baghdad Jay about this?
Romney has a horse elevator and Christie's aid did somethiing with a bridge! The horror!

Nah, they're more subtle than that.
And frankly, this kind of sarcastic rhetoric is pretty infantile and boring.

Sarcasm, I assume!
Obama's lies re the ACA is the biggest FRAUD ever; a lot of good folk will DIE.
"Punish our (political) enemies and reward our friends" (Obama).
Rand Paul should stand on the floor of the US Congress and announce that non-payment of any future Bond debt to China/Japan/et al...is INEVITABLE scenario...due to the CRIMINAL and (legally) unauthorized spending of the Obama Adm. And that we'll print a boatload of money to pay off our debt. Send the boat whenever they want their 'money'. The look on Charles Schumer's face might be worth the hurt!
No way to fight with the gloves on; they're rogues like the Islamists. Take away the credit card...take away their power.

This is par for the course. Pretty fricking sad really. And the Team Democrat will assemble to cast a giant silence over the thing until it's gone.

UPDATE to this news story.
The Justice Dept's response
I think the response is inapropiate. I blame Issa and the republicans because if the tables were switched, the democrats and media would most likely be screaming for a special prosecutor, IG type of investigation.
The Justice Dept's response
quote:
The Justice Department contends that there was nothing improper about naming Bosserman to lead the investigation and that taking her political leanings into account would have been inappropriate.
“It is contrary to department policy and a prohibited personnel practice under federal law to consider the political affiliation of career employees or other non-merit factors in making personnel decisions,” DOJ spokeswoman Dena Iverson said in a statement. “Additionally, removing a career employee from an investigation or case due to political affiliation, as Chairmen Issa and Jordan have requested, could also violate the equal opportunity policy and the law.”
