Hunting tomorrow. I have no idea where exactly since I'm going with a business associate to his family place. Ya'll seeing any ducks that way in flooded timber?

If I was, I'd never tell the OB. I'd get banned since the OB hates all things DD

Nephew killed a pile of them a couple days ago. Not sure where but not in the fields.

Our guys tried to hunt the thaw yesterday afternoon in Jones...but there wasn't much of a thaw. Lots of ducks though. They'll hammer them today...while I'm at work. Boss, I still have your geese.

Seen a pic of a pile of Green/Woodrows killed in the woods South of the Mecca (not public). Heard of another decent shoot up in the woods on UO (not Mollicy). 15 is dead. Jones/Mer Rouge is dead except for whoever says it is not on this thread. Seen some nice straps from the big river but that technically isn't Funroe.

Two of our guys were in one of four blinds yesterday. Only killed 4, but had more birds work than since mid November....they just wouldn't commit over the ice. I'll update after they shoot this morning.

FWIW, I saw thousands of specks in Ark yesterday along Hwy 82 east of 165.

I have seen plenty of pics from the last few days of hunts in and around Mecca. One pic I saw they killed 24 mallards just outside of the courthouse downtown yesterday on the banks of the river.

As several others have said, there are ducks to be had this week.

That's a good spot but the best spot is right in front of Mr. Peter's house on Phillips Bayou. Bring you a loaf of Holsum and a Mojo and you are set. Why they belong to Salt Lakes, I have no clue.

3rd runner up is the ski ramp on Desiard by ULM.

There is a level of trust I share with my fellow hall walkers of that fine institution of learning on Forsythe Ave but I am going to have to say, this post is 1000% worthless without pics.
