That is just the fear that has them looking for every negative. These same posters will be melting when they see the results of all of this.
The fact that they keep bringing up Kiffin as a head coach and not a coordinator and ignoring Kiffin is looking for redemption after hitting rock bottom is telling.
At worst he will be a recruiting monster. This could even have an impact on this 2014 class.

Are bama fans ok about this. I understand its part of the rivalry but I've never heard a bama fan say a nice thing about Lane until this thread.

He's done some dumb-assed stuff, but who hasn't? Bobby Petrino? Les Miles? Even Nick Saban himself has had the occasional faux pas.
He's really not a bad person, IMHO. He just needs to season a bit more before he's ready to be a big time Head Coach. If he's willing to adapt to Saban's system as a coordinator, this could be a good thing for Bama.
It definitely makes the SEC rivalry between Tennessee and Bama more interesting (as if that needed more hate!)

I don't think he gets the job, but what are the fans to do if he does. Like it or not these message boards make the media rounds and if the fan base is complaining about him what good does that do the program. You almost have to support him similar to LSU fans support of Stud as OL coach when truth be told your OL had suffered for years.

He was the real key behind those SC offenses as the WR coach. Not Norm Chow the OC or Sark the QB coach. No, the nepostically hired bag man was the brains behind the whole thing.

yeah it wasn't an insult but as fans what are you going to do. all you can do is support your coaches until they fail. The internet has changed the sports world because as much as you would like to think differently the media follows this buffoonery.
