I know the Civic is a nice place, but their ticket prices are high and I would imagine scare off a lot of people...

Not for Jazz Fest weekend, they are not expensive. Tourist flow will buy these tickets right up.

I'm not talking about just this show... Neko Case is $37 this Monday and while I'd like to see her, Ive seen her enough times not to fork out $80 for a pair of tickets and what ever the extra dosh I'd spend the night of on drinks, etc...
