Does wearing a bow tie make you pass gas?

I decided to up my sense of style by acquiring a couple of authentic bow ties. However, I don't know if I tie them too tight, but whenever I wear them, I get a lot of gas and tend to flatulate.
Is there some restriction in my neck/esophagus caused by the hand tied bowtie, or is this just a coincidence?

No but it makes you a complete d-bag. Unless you are a 65 yr old man you should not wear one. You are trying WAY too hard.

This.
Probably has more to do with the fact that while wearing bow ties you are more likely to attend functions (weddings, parties, etc...) with rich food/drink that would cause you to have worse gas

A bowtie does not give me gas, but trying to tie the goddamn thing makes me want to punch somebody.

I can tie them, as I have five tuxedos and each has bow ties to go with it. But, the other poster may be right, as I often each rich food when I'm at a function where the bow tie is appropriate.
