I am absolutely intrigued by this. It just has an interesting concept. And Spike Jonze is fantastic. Adaptation, Being John Malkovich, and Where the Wild Things Are are all strange and wonderful films.

From just watching the 30 second commercial clips you couldn't get me to pay to see this movie even with a gun to my head.
That said, I hope those who do shell out their cash enjoy it immensely.

As a single guy who catches a matinee alone sometimes, it's somewhat awkward when the preview comes on before the feature. I'll wait until it pops up on DirecTV cinema or HBO.

I'd imagine that it's very well acted and by all accounts is a very good movie, in every technical sense of the word.
But I do not think I will personally find it very entertaining; the topic is just too unappealing to me. I'm passing.

I'm definitely fascinated by the story, but likely won't catch it any time soon.
I never saw Lars and the Real Girl, but something tells me this movie will have a very similar vibe. And LatRG is one that I always wanted to see, but still haven't gotten around to it.

I think it looks like it has the potential to be really fantastic. From the few reviews I've read it's apparently very moving and JP gives a great performance as well as the supporting cast.

It seems like the writer got the idea for this movie from watching the big bang theory. The episode where Raj falls in love with Siri on his iPhone. I will not be seeing this.
