Anyone seeing a noticeable influx of ducks with this freeze? Haven't heard or seen much, hunted the past two day, seen some decent numbers but nothing like I was expecting/hoping for.

I seen a shite pile of mallards going south on the Mississippi river in NELA this weekend and especially Monday, but ducks usually come in behind a front, so you may not seeing new ducks for a day or so

Did see a decent amount of mallards today. It being 70 degrees Friday diff wont help the situation, breaking ice today and using mosquito spray this weekend.

honestly, I am not even the idea that ducks are driven down by fronts is much more than a myth...I have hunted for years thinking that, but can't say I have ever seen an appreciable increase in ducks that I can tie directly to cold weather...
