This is almost as bad as TJ.

CJJ was awesome last year and is completely terrible so far this season.

WTF is wrong?

This team looks about as well-coached as one of Trent Johnson's teams. It looks so bad I don't know where to start.

The first thing I usually look for in a team to judge whether they are well-coached or not is if they consistently and purposefully box-out on rebounds and not just try to rely on their length to get the rebound.

This team fails miserably on that count....no evidence whatsoever that they have been coached to box-out their opponent on rebounds.

Another thing I look at is if they play team defense, meaning they help out and the offside players sag to the ball enough to cover when a player gets beat to the basket - which happens too often to this team because (#3) they run at their opponent when the ball is thrown to them and go for the ball fake the majority of the time therefore getting beat to the basket which causes problems and fouls for the other players.

On that note I haven't seen a team that leaves their feet more than this team. They're easily fooled by a ball fake or a shot fake and are really quick to leave their feet. It blows my mind that a player can make it to this level who so easily is fooled as such. I guess measurables are everything these days.

And finally they don't regularly all hustle back on defense. It's rather sickening.

So LSU will only fair well against non-athletic teams? I like our chances from here on out

LSU's length and athleticism was one of the biggest positives coming into this season. No more del piero, ludwig, courtney etc….

If you combine this with good play you have a good chance of winning. If you rely solely on your length and athleticism you are going to have your arse handed to you like you saw tonight.

Those other teams have long athletic players too.
